My Perfect Wedding

OUIE7614

It has been almost a month since we entered the married life, I can still remember every detail of our wedding vividly in my head. To be perfectly honest, I was really anxious during the days leading up to the big day and there are times when I feel emotional whenever the thought of having to leave the place where I lived in for 27 years comes to mind. The night before the wedding, we were checked in at a hotel in Tagaytay and I was literally tossing and turning in my hotel bed — I couldn’t sleep at all and I was having mixed emotions; I was happy, excited, and ecstatic, but I was also nervous, anxious, and a little bit emotional. Good thing I asked everyone to leave my room early, so that I can try and fall asleep early as well because my call time was 3 AM — I think I finally fell asleep at around 12 midnight. What I Wore #9: First Date in Almost a Year

It’s been almost a year since the pandemic broke out and it’s been taking a toll on my mental health since. I knew that I needed some fresh air, new environment, and just go out once in a while and that’s what we did.

In January, my boyfriend and I decided to take it one step at a time and see of ourselves what it would look like going back on mall dates and it was okay, we just had to make sure that we are distancing ourselves from other people, always keep ourselves sanitized, and being extra careful than usual.

What I Wore #7: After 8 Months, I Went Out

20200311_153633_00004312482201510568033.png

Since the pandemic broke out and most of us were advised to stay at home, I haven’t really gone out of the housed except for those grocery runs I had to do with my mom which we managed to do only once or twice a month. Recently, quarantine measures were beginning to ease and a lot of people are starting to cope with the “new normal.” Since there are no check points anymore, my family decided to visit my grandparents’ house in Tagaytay because we haven’t visited since March and there were lots of cleaning to do.

We went during the recent long weekend in the Philippines (November 28 to 30), after a bit of cleaning we decided to do some groceries for the holidays because we will be spending Christmas there, too. Before that, we had lunch at Gerry’s Grill. It’s been a long time since we last had lunch outs! Pre-COVID, we usually eat out every Sunday. Continue reading

What I Wore #6: On Most Days, I Wear Pink

20200311_153633_00004312482201510568033.png

For those of you who have visited or stumbled upon my blog at least once or twice, you probably noticed that I have a soft spot for the color pink. It’s been my favorite ever since I was a kid and I have never really outgrown my love for it, even today (obviously). Most of my things are pink, even the walls of my room and my door. What I Wore #5: Of Floral Prints & Summer

I’ve been following Farrah Espina for a couple of years now, and she has become one of my favorite influencers recently (in addition to Tricia Gosingtian and Kryz Uy). I find her so adorable with her kawaii look and her fashion sense. She’s also a bit kalog in some of her IG stories!

So why am I talking about her as an introduction for this post? Well, she just happened to post a photo of one of her Sunday outfits and she was at Greenbelt 5 in Makati City. And I am always there during weekdays as my office is just around the corner. Continue reading

What I Wore #2: Singapore

20200311_153633_00004312482201510568033.png

Since this blog series is just a few weeks old, I wasn’t able to post the outfits I wore during our Singapore trip in June. So before the year ends, I should probably post them, so that it doesn’t feel like I have an unfinished business
