Most Anticipated Releases in April

20211123_111009_0000

Happy hump day! ♡ I haven’t updated this section of my blog in a while because of all the wedding preparations last year and, now, adjusting and finding my own rhythm in my new environment. There’s so many new and incredible things I’ve done during the first quarter of this year that I never thought I’d be able to do, but that’s for a different post. I’m happy that I finally had the chance to catch up with all things bookish which resulted in collating these new book titles coming out this month! With that, here’s a list of my most anticipated books for the month of April: Continue reading

Top 5 Books I Would Like to Read Before the Year Ends

20211123_111009_0000

Hey, folks! Do you still remember me? I know, I’ve been away for quite a while there. Again. I also migrated to another blog name, so I hope I get to earn back my followers. My old blog has been really… chaotic in terms of connecting it with my socials so I finally decided to move to a new one.

Anyways, enough rant. Today I’m back with another bookish list about the books I would love to read before the year ends! Given my schedule, errands, and everything that’s been going on in my life lately, this is quite ambitious, but for the sake of making a list, here it is anyway:

Top 5 Favorite Thriller Books

20210929_203445_0000

Hey! I am thrilled to write this list because as we all know, Halloween is fast approaching, you guys! Here’s a little fact about me, I’m not the biggest fan of the horror genre as I easily get scared and spooked out by the smallest of things, but I do love a good thriller. Thrillers are the closest I can get to horror, so I have collated my top 5 thriller favorites:

20200921_104006_0000

Hey, everyone! What’s up? Sorry, I’ve been MIA the past couple of weeks. There’s just so many things to get done both in my personal life and at work, so I have very little time left for reading and writing here. Today, I’m just dropping by to mention some of the books that I’m very excited about this month! I know it will take months (or even years) for me to get to all of these books, but they are still very interesting for me regardless. So here they are: Continue reading

Top 15 Book Series on my Backlist

20200921_104006_0000

I really enjoy making bookish lists recently, so today I’m talking about the top 10 series on my backlist. This is going to be one of the most embarrassing posts I’ll ever do because, omg, self, why have you not read these yet?! Haha Also, take note that when I say backlist, I meant book series that I’ve listed as Want-to-Read from 2010 to 2017. I know, I’m really bad at catching up with all the great books! So without further ado, let’s dive right in (Please don’t judge me. 😂): Continue reading

Half of the year is almost over, and I can’t believe that the days are flying faster and faster as time goes by. We still have another six months and there will be MORE. Continue reading

Book Tag: ‘Goodreads Was Wrong’ Tag

20210527_151046_0000

I’ve been a Goodreads member since 2011 and through the years, it has been my #1 source of book recommendations and new releases. I also use it to track my annual reading goals and number of read books in my lifetime. Aside from that, I also use it to organize titles by genre, author, etc. I know Goodreads may sometimes feel like a “temptation” when it comes to adding new titles to our TBRs, but it has really been helpful when it comes to organizing my books, both virtually and physically.

I’ve been tagged by Angele and Rovie to do the ‘Goodreads Was Wrong’ book tag! It’s been a while since I did a tag on my blog and I’m so hyped to answer these questions. Click here to check Rovie’s post, here to check Angele’s post, and here to watch the video of the tag creator, GrabsAboutBooks. Continue reading
