I don’t really watch boxing matches, my Grandpa would usually tell everybody who the winner is at the end of the match. And to be honest, I didn’t really care. I mean, yeah, I am aware that Manny Pacquiao is a really good boxer and I do respect that he is one of those people who gives pride to the Philippines.
Last Sunday, my brother told us that Manny lost the game and I just shrugged and said, “Well, that’s life. You don’t always get what you want”. And I was impressed by what Manny had said, because he remained calm and accepted the fact that he lost. I gave him a thumbs up when he said that, “It’s just a game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.”
So when I checked my facebook account, obviously, my news feed was bombarded with pictures and quotations about the match. What caught my attention was the first picture above. Yeah, I don’t care about who wins or loses but what those people did was foul. They didn’t respect Manny and never even thought about the fact that we did not do such act when Pacquiao defeated the hell out of how many of them? 10, right? And how many of their kind defeated Manny? Only 1. Keep that in mind.
And to that young singer? You’re not as cool as you think you are, kid. No, not to me. From that little kid way back when you were just starting to be famous? You’ve turned into someone who doesn’t know how to respect others. You don’t deserve any of what you have. And to those 75400 likers? Karma will hit you hard.
I know this post is kind of late because I had a lot of things to attend to this past few days and I only had the time right now to post my opinion about this. Hehe. Oh, and hi, I’m just stating my opinion here, just like how you guys stated yours.
