We booked this place in replacement for our supposed out-of-town trip that was cancelled because of the heightened restrictions imposed in NCR. We needed a breather from so many things, and it was really good thing that we found this place online. The whole place was very clean, spacious, and safe.
On our first day, our plan was to have lunch in BGC first since the checkin time is 2 PM in the afternoon. I’ve been craving for some Japanese food for a long time, so I insisted on dining at Ooma. It was honestly a very hot day, but we still chose to dine outside of the restaurant, in the open, because it’s safer. I ordered their Chicken Teriyaki (which didn’t disappoint!) while my boyfriend ordered their Chicken Karaage. We also ordered some sushi: California taco-maki and soft shell crab taco-maki.
Then, we dropped by at Speedo to buy myself a new swimsuit! I honestly wanted to invest on a branded one instead of just buying from random shops online. Don’t get me wrong, I love buying from random shops because most of their designs are really cute and comfy! But I wanted to get at least one from Speedo because our go-to vacation is always a swimming activity, so I know I’ll be able to use it often. I wanted to get the colorful one, but they don’t have available stocks for my size, so I got this cute one-piece black swimsuit instead:
After purchasing the swimsuit, we dropped by Fully Booked, High Street, because why would I not? Haha I’m not in BGC often, so whenever I’m around the vicinity, I always make it a point to drop by their Fully Booked’s flagship store. Of course, I bought new books using my discount card! 😋 I got The Shadow of the Gods (The Bloodsworn Saga, #1) by John Gwynne and Rage of Dragons (The Burning, #1) by Evan Winter. Two new first-books-in-a-series books added in my TBR, I know, but who’s counting? 🤪
After our Fully Booked visit, we bought some things that we might need for our 3D2N stay at Dasmariñas Village, so that we wouldn’t have to leave the place in the coming days. When we arrived, we did our usual thing when we arrive in our destinations: leave our stuff inside the room and take photos. It was during the whole “picture taking” thing when he proposed. Honestly, I still can’t believe that I’m engaged even with all the planning and stuff. It is both terrifying and exciting if you ask me. 🙈
Our stay at this place was very chill. We managed to enjoy the moment while it lasts because it was so romantic having to spend some time alone with him like this. There were no TVs in the place, so it kind of forces the visitors to make the most out of their time without a lot of technology. Hehe
On our second night, we spent it swimming and occasionally getting out of the water to drink or eat. We talked about random things, from the stars to the universe to spacetime to family matters and so many things. I think we finally decided to take a bath and go to sleep at around 2 AM.
