Okay, so I received and bought A LOT of books during the month of June and I am so happy about it. Some of the books were reserved under my name since March, but due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine, the sellers were forced to hold it off because it’s hard to look for a courier that delivers in my address, so as soon as couriers were allowed to enter my city, we proceeded with the process of the delivery.
I haven’t read as much in June again, but I am really happy with the books that I was able to finish reading this month. My first read was This Is How You Lose Her by Junot Diaz, which I surprisingly appreciated. I liked how each story in the book show how Yunior loses every woman in his life. I rated it 3 out 5 stars on Goodreads!
The second book that I have read in June was Magyk (Septimus Heap, #1) by Angie Sage. This book was given to me by my boyfriend along with books two to six since the person we bought it from doesn’t have a copy of the last book in the recent, but I did find a shop where I can buy Fyre and I actually ordered already! I totally enjoyed reading this book because of the magical feels. I rated it a 3.5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads! I’ll be posting a series review once I finished all seven books.
After reading Magyk, I started reading a couple of titles from my manga list which are: Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Vol. 1 by Aka Akasaka, One-Punch Man Vol. 5, and One-Punch Man Vol. 6 by ONE. I totally loved Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and will surely continue on with the series.
Currently, I’m a quarter into Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. Hoping to finish this early this month so I can read the second book in the Septimus Heap series, Flyte.
