10 Most Anticipated Releases in June

20200921_104006_0000

Half of the year is almost over, and I can’t believe that the days are flying faster and faster as time goes by. That said, a lot of really good books have been released in the past five months of 2021. I’m sure every bookworm out there couldn’t keep up with all the amazing novels, and yet there’s more. We still have another six months and there will be MORE. Continue reading

12 Most Anticipated Releases in May

20200921_104006_0000

There are a lot of really good novels being released this month and most of my most anticipated ones are AAPI authors and I’m really excited to get my hands on them! I always get excited about new releases, even when most often than not, I don’t get to read them immediately. I’m a weird person, I know. 🤪 But I’ve been enjoying making these lists recently, so here are my 12 most anticipated May releases:

7 Most Anticipated Dark Academia Books

20200921_104006_0000

Dark academia is a sub-genre that have rapidly grown in the past couple of years. Looking at my Goodreads shelf, I realized that I haven’t read a lot of books under this genre which is such a surprise for me because I really enjoy reading books in school settings! That being said, I plan to remedy that by listing some of my most anticipated dark academia books coming out this year.

It’s a few days late, but Happy Valentine’s to all of you! I know, I’m always late when it comes to posting celebratory stuff. Forgive me, but I’ve been crazy busy the past week and this week. Right now, I’m just squeezing writing this post because I just took a photo of my favorite romance novels last weekend!

February has always been coined as the “love month” because of Valentine’s Day and I wouldn’t want this month to end without posting and hyping up my favorite romance novels! So without further ado, here they are: Continue reading

2021 Most Anticipated Releases

20200921_104006_0000

Today’s post is about my most anticipated releases for this year. I am so excited to talk about all these, but before we dive into the books themselves, take note that this list will only contain either standalones, non-fictions, or new series. I didn’t include sequels as I’d like to focus on new stories and worlds I’d like to into this year. Also, most of these are releases for the first half of the year, so I’ll probably do another anticipated post in June-ish. So here they are: Continue reading

Books I Wish I Read in 2020

20200921_104006_0000

This year is one of the best reading years for me and the entirety of 2020 was spent catching up on series and releases that I have not been able to read the past couple of years. It’s also the year where I bought so many books as I wanted to support my local bookstores during the pandemic. I’ve bought a lot of books that have been sitting on my Goodreads want-to-read shelf for years now, and I am so happy about it. Now, I just need more time to read all of them.

There are also books sitting on my physical shelves for years and still haven’t gotten to them because ever since I started working six years ago, I didn’t have a lot of time reading except for those years where I feel really lost and turn all my attention into reading. Anyway, I’ll be listing all of them in this post and, hopefully, I get to read every book on this list in 2021. Continue reading

Autumn Book Recommendations

20200921_104006_0000

Hi, everyone! Today I’m going to share with you some of the books that I think is perfect for Fall. We don’t really have Fall in my side of the world, but, well, I still get the vibes. ☺

I’ve been seeing a lot of people posting about their Fall TBRs (and since I am not really doing well with my attempt of a September TBR haha), I figured why not do a recommendations post instead? So I scoured around my room looking for the perfect Fall books to recommend to all of you only to realize that I haven’t really read a lot of spooky or creepy books. I did find a few titles that are atmospheric enough to recommend, so let’s go ahead and dive right in: Continue reading

10 Books On My Priority List

20200921_104006_0000

Hey, everyone! I’m back with another book list and today I’ll be talking about the top ten books in my physical TBR that are on my priority list. I may have mentioned in one of my previous posts that I am a mood reader which is why I don’t post monthly TBRs here or on Instagram (except for my readathon books). My being a mood reader is also the reason why I do not have a specific date set for reading each of the books that I will mention in this post, but hopefully, I can get to them before the year ends. Favorite Debut Books

20200921_104006_0000

Hey, guys! Today I’m going to talk about my all-time favorite debuts! I’ve been wanting to write posts of my favorite so and so and I have already started in February and sort of stopped because I ran out of ideas of books to list. Recently, I came up with a lot of ideas for my blog content and have been scheduling posts since last week. With that, I also came up with new topics for my book lists!

If you do not know, a debut book means it is an author’s first novel that has been published. I honestly love reading debut novels and discovering amazing authors, I mean, if the first novel they ever wrote is amazing, what more the next books that they will write, right?
