Books read per month:
As you can see, my strongest reading month was in April where I’ve read a total of 7 books. I’m a slow reader, so reading 7 books in a single month is a big deal for me. My stats may not look like much compared to other readers who managed to read 100+ books this year, but I’ve completed my Goodreads reading challenge and exceeded with 13 books!
Book Formats:
If you know me well, you’d know that I don’t really read a lot of other book formats. I used to read e-books back in college, but it started to strain my eyes and I now have astigmatism, so I easily get a headache whenever I am reading from an e-reader. So my only option is always physical books, not that I’m complaining because I really do prefer them than other formats. It’s just that they are really expensive in my country! Haha
This year, I tried listening to an audiobook of a specific book because I’ve been seeing a lot of great reviews about it. It’s also been recommended by my favorite booktubers, so I gave it a try. It was one of the greatest decisions I’ve made! Truly, enjoying an audiobook depends on how good the narrator is.
I’ve already mentioned that I’ve read a lot of books in 2020 compared to the past couple of years, and not only have I read a huge amount of them, I’ve also read really great books content-wise and I am so happy about it. My top read for the year is The Poppy War (Poppy War, #1) by R.F. Kuang and my most hated book is Timeline by Michael Crichton which I DNF-ed at around page 60.
So there you have it, my 2020 reads and stats! What about you? What’s your most favorite read and least favorite read this year?
Did you make your own reading stats? Omg ang galing
