Singapore Day 1: Around the City

Let me just start with the fact that a month ago, I never thought I’d be able to join this trip. So here’s the thing, I don’t get to do a lot of travels as much as, well, everyone, so this will probably the first time in years that I went on an out of the country trip – and the first without my parents.

We went to Jewel Changi Airport to see the Rain Vortex up close and to eat lunch.

We ended up having chicken burgers and fries for lunch at Jinjja Chicken. As you all know, I am an avid fan of white meat (especially chicken). I think I can eat chicken every day for the rest of my life.

We also went to the Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Flower Dome, Supertree Grove, and Satay by the Bay. We actually went to go up at the Supertree Grove Skyway, only to find out that our Agoda booking isn’t the ticket itself and we have to claim our tickets before 5 p.m. so we had to go there another time.

It was all fun, and it was also a whole day full of walking to the point that at the end of the day, when we were back at our hotel room, I couldn’t even feel my legs anymore. I think I just passed out immediately after taking a well-deserved shower. Haha!
