Personal Thoughts:

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Here’s another book that I stumbled upon while browsing through Goodreads! It’s a novella about two best friends who are in the same industry/line of work, and it has already come to the point of envy…

In this story we follow Charlotte Curran as she celebrates her new novel which is coming out in April. She’s worked so hard on this book and she believes that this is her best work yet. To celebrate, her best friend Kim Lavoie, a best-selling author herself, comes over to Charlotte’s house for a simple celebratory dinner. Soon, the celebration turns into an unexpected turn as Charlotte murders Kim.

I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but it was surely very engaging and has just the right amount of creepy. The ending was perfect and I loved it.
